Glam…Sham

Yaaaay! J and I didn’t fight last night, even though it was a thursday and he was being bitchy. I just mostly ignored his bitchiness….Ha! I went to the gym and only did 35 mins of Cardio. God I hope I see some results soon. While on the elliptical machine, I get such great ideas for Blog entries but then in the mornings when I update my blog, I can’t remember those ideas.

So happy its friday, although I have nothing planned out for the weekend, hopefully it will be nce and relaxing! Today is my day off from the gym and I can eat out for lunch….maybe i’ll try jasons deli.

My acquisition quest for this weekend is a pair of glam movie star sunglasses and some cool Thank You note cards

So far I’ve found these spring ones at swoozies and these yummy ones at Fred Flare…the hippest shop around. As far as glam movie star sunglasses, I can’t really shop sunglasses without trying them on. It’s amazing how many designer knock offs are available on the internet, but i don’t want to buy a pair that would make look like a fake instead of…sligtly intriguing..n a mean?

Sweet revenge

Ooooffff….why is it that despite my best intentions I end up getting annoyed with J on thursdays and fridays. It seems like by thursday night my bull shit ignoring tactics have completely broken down and i can’t deal with his irritibality as well. I swear I get really annoyed with him only once a week and then i yell and he says something sarcastic and we have a mini fight…is that normal? To have your partner get on your nerves once a week….I guess it could be worse.

Last night he was just in a bad mood because his phone charger wouldn’t work. To me thats no reason to be upset, you just get a new phone chargers, why waste valueable time being bitchy over something that can be easily fixed. I don’t understand boys. I told him “we need to talk” today and I could tell he was upset…so i’m going to spring a “oh baby i love you so much” ..and be totally sweet during our “talk” and not mention anything bad….i’m evil…its going to mess with his head ….but revenge will be mine ….ha ha ha. But seriously it will also eliminate bickering on a friday night and he will feel extra guilty for being bitchy last night. Ta Da! Mission Accomplished.

Don’t have too many plans for the weekend yet…but hopefully hanging out and just not dealing with work will calm me down. I do love the boy…he just frustrates the hell out of me.

I just looked through ebay and ogled tons of stuff I want, but I’ve decided I won’t buy anything super cute, till I am close to goal weight and can really enjoy it.

Still on the quest for a cute pair of shoes….Any shoe angels out there who can give divine directions to a cute and affordable pair….Kate spade and Manolo Blahniks and Jimmy Choos are out of my league

So I didn’t go to work today! Yesss!!!! I really needed this day off, so i don’t feel too bad. I am just going to be by myself and catch up with me today. Its been so long since I have been home mid morning on a weekday! It feels unbelievably decadent.

Speaking of decadent though, Saturday Nights’ sushi was out of this world we ate at Kanki‘s. Yummmm….aghhhh…those are my homer simpson eating good sushi noises. i was fairly good rest of the weekend, i guess.

So over all not really bad. Also bought 2 new tee shirts from JC Penney, but the stupid weather won’t allow for any flirty/fun dressing. I also went into Express on saturday, and I just can’t find anything fabulous in there. They raised their prices, but the clothes didn’t get any cuter. My new fave store though is United Colors of Benetton, but i didn’t really get a chance to look on saturday

Sunday, I just worked out, got a hair cut and made some Pad Thai for dinner. It was sooooo good, and I had leftovers for breakfast this morning.

Since i got the new account, we are going out for sushi tonight. I can’t wait, its been atleast good 6mos since i have had sushi. Looking forward to a little alcohol consumption tonight as well.

KD told me last night that she was Eric on campus, it weirded me out for the split second that she told me and then it didn’t really mean anything anymore. I don’t even really think about him anymore other than passing thoughts about jokes he made etc. God I’m even dealing with ex boyfriends maturely.

During lunch today, I bought this new maybelline mousse makeup to play with. Figure I ‘ll play around with the cheap stuff before investing in a clinique bottle.

ANTM is starting next week…can’t wait for pretty bitchy girls being catty…..yay!!!

Here are some shoe ideas for this weekend, if i do end up going shoe shopping this weekend. Although, I haven’t really seen anything I absolutely love lately.

I do like these new wedges though and Steve Madden always has some good stuff, so maybe I’ll check out Hechts too.

J and I had our holiday day yesterday, which was well timed because of our fight saturday night. It was a good way to make up. We had fun, pretending we have money and ogling things for our very bare apartment.

So it looks like everything is going fine for the moment. After a little bit of turbulence around the end of the month, it seems like everything has settled in nicely. The job is getting a little better too, since I have 3 clients and have actually managed to generate a small bit of extra money. J is still the main breadwinner.

Will go see my parents in richmond on saturday, could be fun;) Also I am going to an indian thing on friday w/out J. Am expanding my wings.

Mostly though, I ‘ve just been in the mood to go back to spoilt suburbanite princess, especially now that its the holiday season and there all sorts of delicious goodies around.
