I’ve been thinking about weddings a lot lately.
Its scary to think I could actually become married. Its always been something I want to do someday ,when I’m older. So getting married really is the final step in becoming “older” or finally being an adult.
J and I were joking last night , how we’ve already started joking about starting stories with “Back in the day….” or “Remember when….”
But its true, the older we become the more we’ll look back than forward.

Wow, I can’t believe,I used to update this blog regularly. Seems like I don’t even have time nowadays to even sit down,let alone write out an entry!
Anyway, life is chugging along!!! Halloween was really fun this year. We kept with tradition and went to Franklin Street but we went with my friends Jen and Er instead of J’s lab people.
School is kicking my ass, I am so behind and I could do so much better at Math if I could make it to my class every single day instead of every other day. But it is hard to get up and be there so early. Also Marketing Mgmt would be a lot better if my parter didn’t suck.
J and I are good, we are what I call our usual selves. We have little fights about cleaning the apartment, or who is going to go pick up Wendys, but other than that we get along pretty swell. My friend and parents are good also but I feel like I don’t get to interact with anybody as much b/c of work and school…..grrrr…
Speaking of work , I have a new internship, hence access to computer during the workday, hence the social loafing and thus we have a new entry…..Wooooooo!!!!
Its a milestone….or not.
God, it is so hard to focus on school this semester. There’s just something about the summer that makes me want to slack of really bad, which is exactly what I have been doing the past few days. However,I was overwhelmed by feelings of motivation this morning,( I think it was brought on by caffeine) so I am going to focus this week and do really well!
Things are going swell with me and J momentarily, but these things are transient. Lately I have been having lots of dreams about being a mom, something i cannot handle right now.
Summer is in full swing in NC, its humig, muggy and hot, but I’m getting used to it. Driving home after class and seeing the magnolia trees in bloom, made me smile. Something that would not have happened last year. I am so afraid that just as I finally feel like I’m getting settled, it might be time to move.
p.s the job is being a pain in the ass, must start looking for better employment, before situatins become dire.
I’m not sure where I stand on this Immigration debate thats raging through the country. But I do know,that I’m happy there is a debate. Its nice to see our political process in motion. I had been very disheartened for a while, but there’s still hope.
Everything else stays the same.
This is the week from hell!!!
I am working 42 hours , juggling school, a huge paper(15% of my grade) an econ test and starving all the time. I am so exhausted, sometimes i’m so stressed out, i can’ turn my brain off, no matter how tired I am .
J has his own shit going on, and is just as busy as me, we ar existing in seperate spheres in the moment, maybe over the weekend taht will connect and I’ll get a little relaxation.
I had a chocolate Croissant this morning for breakfast…not a teeny tiny one, a freaking gigantic huge one…………bleeeech

I found the perfect outfit this weekend for under$20.00.I can definitely get it but i was paralyzed by fear. Have been regretting it ever since
procrastinated on studying for management and did rather poorly on the test this morning.

Feeling generally unmotivated and blah,
but i guess all this did help me update my blog.
The test I was beating myself about, the one I thought, I’d misread the question and failed, turns out, I got a 100%. Which actually sucks, cuz I gotta take the boy out to dinner, cuz he made me bet against myself.
My friend JJ also pulled this trick on me right before the AP test results came out in high school :). I can’t remember what the bet was though.
Anyway, I guess its a good thing.
Its been one month and 6 days since I have last posted. Grr..time flies. I can’t believe, one more month and the semester will be over. Things continue to go well on the school front. Planning out my summer school is stressing me out a little, because if I can’t get all the classes I want, I won’t be able to graduate Dec 07, which is the goal grad date now.
In life, nothing is really up, because it revolves around school, work, and homework. J and I are pretty steady these days, I think it has to do with both of us being super busy ,so even if we are cranky around each other, we stop because emotional upheavals require more effort than they are worth.
Lately,I have been missing my friends a lot. It was KD’s b’day recently and I’m a little sad, i didn’t get to celebrate her quarterlife milestone with her, but I’m sure we’ll make up for it the next time we get together.
Also, it seems more and more unlikely that I’ll make it to JJ’s wedding and taht depresses me so much. We have been discussing weddings and marriages for as long as I can remember and could not imagine not being at her wedding then.
Also being so busy makes it harder to keep in touch with friends over IM and phone simply cuz I don’t have the time….grrr….a year and a half, hopefully i’ll make it and my freinds will be patient enough and wait till I can breathe freely again.
Making a solemn vow to update more often, but I have a feeling that vow might be broken.
Oh God, its been so long since I’ve updated. Between school and work, I have zero time left for boyfriend, self or anything else, let alone my blog. I am enjoying work, its nice to get paid for non taxing(intellectually) work,but also get a bit of a work out(physically) while its busy. I like it busy anyway, cuz time goes by so quickly and I feel like I get skinnier. Because of how busy I’ve been my calorie intake has been about700 cals a day. Although, I realize this is going to help me get skinny fast, i need to not be this drastic.
When I get stressed out, I take it out on myself the most, and I need to not do that. If i want to get ready for the type of job, I really want in the future, I need to learn to handle stress now.
Everything else is going fine,meaning nothing new or exciting has happened in a long time. However:
a) i am getting back a decent tax refund, so i can pay down some of my credit cards
b) I am getting a haircut tomorrow and my hair decided to look decent today , so now i’m back to being torn about getting it cut short. It had seriously looked heinous, everyday but today! Stupid hair…..grrrr….Anyway, I was thinking of getting a short bob, something nicole richieish. Hope it will look good
